What Is Refractory Removal?
A refractory lining, typically made from alumina and silica, is installed into the inside of vessels exposed to high temperatures such as furnaces, boilers and incinerators. This lining not only acts as an insulator, but also protects the outer steel structure of the vessel from damage. Over time, this lining wears away and needs to be removed and replaced.
At Hydroblast, we use high-pressure water jetting equipment to remove worn refractory lining efficiently and effectively, saving businesses time and money.
