Smoked Wensleydale factory cleaned |
Fire damaged cheese factory restored
- with a little help from Hydroblast
Following a the fire in May 2007 at the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes, Hydroblast was asked by Tanfield engineering if they could restore the smoked damaged machinery -made of stainless steel.
After trying and testing various blast media we chose high pressure hot water and beads from recycled bottle bank glass. This was used to carefully clean and polish the stainless steel, restoring it to a smooth shiny finish. The welds on the stainless steel were also polished resulting in a better than original finish!
Cleaning was fast and easy, helping our local engineer complete his task and getting the world famous local creamery back into production.
