Three maximum pressure water-jetting systems were used to process 13,000m2 of surface area with a layer of bitumen and resin up to 2cm thick removed from the carriageway. The layers were removed with the pointspeed regulation rotor nozzle.
Not only does the continual variable speed adjustment work directly on the nozzle producing superior jetting results to customary nozzle systems, but the surface coverage was also increased by 20% to some 450m2 /day.
Part of the removal work was completed with the Falch scater 25, which accounted for 65m2 per hour. |
