Carriageway removal & reinforcement exposure

Falch T25 removes 450m2 bitumen per day

Three maximum pressure water-jetting systems were used to process 13,000m2 of surface area with a layer of bitumen and resin up to 2cm thick removed from the carriageway. The layers were removed with the pointspeed regulation rotor nozzle. scater 25

Not only does the continual variable speed adjustment work directly on the nozzle producing superior jetting results to customary nozzle systems, but the surface coverage was also increased by 20% to some 450m2 /day.

Part of the removal work was completed with the Falch scater 25, which accounted for 65m2 per hour.

Record Performance: 123 metres per hour uncovered!

Exposed reinforcing

Another part of the project involved exposing the tensioning cords and core irons. This was completed with the new nozzle technology in the form of the Falch hyjet process. The concrete to be removed from around the iron was 15cm wide and around 4cm deep. The procedure was completed at around 80 m2/ h, with a top speed of 123 metres in one hour!
